TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

All orders are subject to the following terms and conditions

The description Hamper is used in the general sense.

Guarantee

It is our policy to ensure that all goods are supplied in perfect condition however should any of our products be found to be unsatisfactory we will replace it. Your statutory rights are not affected

Availability

Every effort will be made to supply the goods or products listed, but where supplies become difficult or unobtainable we reserve the right to substitute goods of similar quality and value as necessary.

Payments

Orders will be accepted at any time of the year for any occasion provided all the payments are completed prior to goods being despatched.

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within two weeks for full refund of monies paid any later cancellations will not be refundable.

Cancellation by the company

We will offer a full refund or credit facility where an order/s is cancelled by us. The credit may be used as payment towards another order.

Notice of loss/damage or shortage

Any claim for loss, shortage or damage will be void unless we are notified by telephone within 48 hours of the goods being received. Refunds will only be issued for items damaged on receipt of the damaged goods.

DELIVERY


UK Deliveries:
Please let us know the date when you want your goods/gifts delivered, and/or the time taken for any delivery when in the 'Checkout section.' You may choose the options of next day, two day or three day sending. Our unique system automatically calculates the date on which your order will be despatched and the day on which it will arrive. These dates are then confirmed to you once your order has been received.
We work with a leading courier company, to ensure the timely arrival of your products or will carry out your specific delivery instructions where given during our checkout section.  You will be automatically notified by email, the day before, advising you of the order arriving the next day.

£6.99 for all deliveries up to 3kg taking up to 3 working days to arrive.
£6.99 for all deliveries from 4kg to 10kg will take up to two working days.
Next day delivery is available at £8.99 up to 3kg.
Each of the above services are subject to a charge of 26p per kilo thereafter.

Proof of Delivery:

If you /chosen recipient, is not at home to accept delivery, our couriers will try and leave the order with your neighbour/s and a card will be left to acknowledge this. UK orders are not left unless the carrier can obtain a signature or, where we are given specific delivery instructions at the time of order to include leave in the porch/behind garage, in wheelie bin etc. - This is at your own risk. This information may be given during our checkout section by filling in the 'courier instructions' field, and your instructions will be carried out automatically and efficiently.

To ensure timely deliveries we strongly recommend that you provide the following details:

  • The recipient's telephone number for both UK and European deliveries. This is an optional field for inputting during our checkout section for use in case the recipient or associate is not in to sign for the goods, or in the case of remote and hard to find addresses such as office suites and properties off the beaten track etc. Please note that for all UK deliveries (see below), no attempt will be made by couriers asking the recipient to arrange alternative delivery times or an alternative delivery address. This is in accordance with their security policy to ensure properties do not appear vacant.
  • Check the recipient's postcode is correct.
  • Input your telephone number during our checkout section as the sender of goods to assist us in informing you at the earliest possible time of any unforeseen problem, such as wrongly inputted credit card details, a breakage, an address not found, or there being a stock shortage for an item ordered.As stated, all deliveries within the UK mainland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man are carried out by ..................; This is inputted to the Alternatively, log in to 'your account' and if you click the order number for the consignment you wish to query, the transit details are listed at the bottom of the page. Please note these are updated only when parcels are scanned at depots.
     
    Prices

    All prices are shown fully inclusive of packaging and VAT at 17.5% where applicable. Any variations in orders will normally be supplied at prices shown, but in the event of any extraordinary increases in the prices of the goods and or products contained in our hampers which are beyond our control. We therefore reserve the right to alter or change the prices within this site without prior notice, if an error has occurred Where an item is displayed at £0.00 this is because we are out of stock, or if requested you need to telephone for a price.

    General information

    All gift boxes, baskets, and hampers photographed contain only the goods/items listed. (Other items and props featured are not included. However, presentation and packaging (hampers, baskets, gift boxes and ribbons) may vary from those illustrated in the photographs due to availability and changes in design and stock.

    Age All persons ordering alcoholic beverages from this site must be 18 years of age or older.

    Bottle size all bottles are 70cl for spirits and 75cl for wines unless stated otherwise.

    Our company name is CARIBBEAN DELIGHTS and this will show on your statement.

    Despatch & Delivery all goods will be despatched within 3 days,(except weekends and bank holidays) subject to availability, in this case we would re-advise a new delivery date.  Goods despatch in the UK will be delivered within 4 days (except over weekends). Goods for Europe 3-7days (depending on location)
    Goods sent via a third party carrier and their terms and conditions apply.

    REFUNDS & RETURNS
     
    On the rare occasion a breakage occurs or goods are faulty, we will happily offer a replacement or a credit on the return of the items in question. We must be notified of such within three working days and the goods returned within a further seven days and are further happy to have these goods collected by our couriers at no extra cost to yourself. We may require further information from you regarding where the goods may be collected from, if different from the original delivery address and may be picked up from a particular, agreed place. For example, you may leave the goods in a porch or with a neighbour for collection. Claims and details for these are required by post or fax.

    Should the goods ordered be returned to us because the couriers have failed to deliver despite all attempts including any new address given, telephone number given for the recipient and any other helpful information, we will either give you a credit, less the orders delivery charge or re-despatch on your instruction where the same delivery cost will be charged against your account.

    Goods must be checked at time of delivery and any loss or breakage must be reported to the courier at the time of delivery.  Please also contact Caribbean Delights Ltd within 24 hours to report this.  If goods are damaged/broken will either give a full refund for the broken goods or arrange for another one to be sent out to you.
    Refunds will be made within 28 days.

    Strength & Vintages may vary from those shown, but we will update as often as possible. In these circumstances we will send the follow on vintage. Please specify in the extra Info if you require a specific vintage or strength.

    Insurance All goods sent within the UK will be insured. Goods sent outside this area will be sent at the purchaser’s responsibility although all goods are packaged with the utmost care.

    Disclaimer

    We will not be held responsible for any perishable goods which due to improper storage deteriorate rapidly after 48 hours.
